Banking Licence

The initial document headed Offshore Banking License was issued to Sentenor Bank Corporation on 5 March 2025. It covers 1 January through 31 December 2025 and is subject to annual renewal.

In the renewal package dated 2 February 2026, the cover letter uses the label Certificate of Renewal of Offshore Bank and Trust Licence. The heading and operative text of the attached certificate instead use Certificate of Renewal — Offshore Banking Licence. The certificate runs from 1 January through 31 December 2026. This difference in document labels does not establish a separate trustee or trust-administration service. Scans are published on the bank’s Regulatory page.

VASP Approval

A Financial Services Unit letter dated 23 June 2026 confirms Sentenor Bank Corporation’s registration in the Virtual Assets Business Register. The document lists:

  • virtual-asset issuance;
  • exchange between virtual assets;
  • exchange between virtual assets and fiat currencies;
  • transfer of virtual assets;
  • safekeeping or administration of virtual assets or instruments enabling control over them;
  • participation in financial services related to an offer or sale of virtual assets, including the issuance of asset-backed virtual assets.

The registration also appears in the Financial Services Unit register. The document does not name specific assets, blockchain networks, technology providers or counterparties.

Swiss Wording

The official website uses the slogan Swiss Heritage, Offshore Agility. Its About page refers to experience of the leadership and strategic partners across Europe, Switzerland and international markets.

Sentenor’s public materials do not identify a Swiss asset-management company as the bank’s owner, parent or service provider. The published banking licence was issued by the Financial Services Unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica; the published documents do not state that Swiss banking supervision applies.
